DYSIS published in BJOG
1 January 2011
The results of the clinical trial that was conducted in three leading clinics in the Netherlands, were just published in BJOG.
This publication highlights the clinical value of DYSIS, and the technology it introduces to colposocpy with the DYSISmap.
The clinical researchers concluded that at 79%, “colposcopy with DYSIS has a significantly higher sensitivity to detect cervical lesions than conventional colposcopy”.
They also found that when the reviewing of the DYSISmap was combined with conventional colposcopic assessment, the sensitivity to identify high-grade disease was 88%, a dramatic improvement over conventional colposcopy (55%).
