Further clinical evidence for DYSIS Colposcopy is published in Gynecologic Oncology
An article presenting a different analysis of the results of the DYSIS clinical trial in the Netherlands was just published on Gynecologic Oncology. This study separates the patients in different groups according to their referral results, and shows that the sensitivity of colposcopy with DYSIS is high across all different groups. This is in contrast to conventional colposcopy that is rather poor on patients with milder cytologic abnormalities, who represent the vast majority of colposcopy referrals and their management is a major concern. Further, the study analyzes the data for different patient referral pathways, and illustrates that colposcopy with DYSIS fits perfectly in the modern era of screening for cervical cancer where HPV testing plays a big role.
